Sylvian Care Farnham Expand to Cover New Territory

Sylvian Care Farnham, a dedicated franchisee of Sylvian Care, is excited to announce the expansion of their territory area, further solidifying their presence in the Farnham region.

This strategic move is driven by a growing demand for high-quality domiciliary care services, especially in rural locations, and marks a significant milestone in their journey with Sylvian Care.

"We saw potential from the very beginning," said Claudiu Dordea, Co-Director of Sylvian Care Farnham. "We started small, focusing on building a solid foundation with just one hub. As we began to secure clients, we quickly realised that was further demand located just outside our initial area. This made it clear that expanding our territory was the right move. We’re thrilled with how well it’s going."

Their expansion is focusing on rural areas where there is an increasing demand for care services. Claudiu and his partner, Andrada, noted a trend that older adults, located in Surrey, tend to reside in more rural locations, making these areas a key focus for their business.

"Our goal was always to cover the entire Farnham area," Claudiu explained. "We’re very happy with the territory we have now, and it aligns perfectly with our initial vision. There’s a lot of potential for further growth from here."

Background and Journey

Claudiu and Andrada’s journey with Sylvian Care began in 2020 when they were both employed as carers while completing their university degrees. After working together getting to know each other better, and becoming a couple, they decided to move to a new area and eventually start their own business. Andrada, who had freshly graduated with a degree in Business Management, was the driving force behind this decision, encouraging them to leverage their extensive experience in the care industry to start their own domiciliary care business.

"After so many years in the industry, we wanted to take things to the next level," Claudiu said. "Sylvian Care stood out to us as the perfect franchise opportunity, especially given our previous employment there. The guidance we received from Cristina Grancea, Sylvian Care CEO and Founder, was invaluable, particularly in navigating the complexities of the CQC registration process and other startup challenges."

Marketing and Future Goals

As the business continues to grow, the pair have focused on a robust marketing strategy to attract new clients, drawing inspiration from the Business Development training provided by Sylvian’s Head Office. "We’re on every possible online platform that promotes our services, and we’ve started to gather more reviews on homecare.co.uk. We’ve also ventured into magazine advertising and will soon have a billboard outside Sainsbury’s in Farnham starting this October," they shared.

The franchisee's dedication to quality service is reflected in their careful approach to hiring. "Our main focus is on service delivery. We take things in small steps, and that includes making sure we employ the right people. We recruit on values to find the perfect fit for our company," Claudiu added.

Looking ahead, Claudiu and Andrada are committed to continuing their growth while maintaining the high standards of care that have become their hallmark. "This expansion is just the beginning.
